Esports Nations Cup Confirms Team and Player Rankings

The Esports Foundation has released the player and team rankings for the Esports Nations Cup.

The $20 million multi-tournament event, taking place from November 2 to November 29, will invite over 100 countries and possibly over 100,000 players to compete across 16 esports titles.

The rankings, calculated from high placements across multiple events, will determine which players/nations receive direct invites to the event and which nations must compete through qualifiers.

For example, the League of Legends Esports Nations Cup invites will go to the 16 nations whose players have the highest combined rankings based on competitive performances between October 14, 2025, and June 14, 2026.

The Esports Nations Cup website ranks the top countries in each game via the highest-scoring roster possible.

These rankings will then be updated at the end of May to only reflect the scores of locked-in and confirmed rosters.

The rankings will continue to update with new results until each game’s respective roster cut-off date is reached.

Esports Nations Cup Team Builder

Alongside the release of these rankings, the Esports Foundation has also added a team builder to the Esports Nations Cup website.

This allows fans to create ‘dream teams’ of any nation across all 16 games with an extensive database of possible pictures.

Possibly too extensive, with commentators and coaches included in the possible options.

The roster builder shows each player’s individual points tally.

“With the ENC Rankings and Team Builder, we’re putting real structure behind how countries and territories qualify and compete,” said Mike McCabe, Deputy CEO and COO of the Esports Foundation.

“Performance drives selection, but we’re also opening that process up, so players understand what it takes to qualify and fans can engage in a much more meaningful way,” McCabe added.

So far, hundreds of national coaches for the Esports Nations Cup have been selected and will have final say on the eventual rosters.
