All Escape From Playtime Platforms & Console Status
Escape From Playtime’s early access begins on PC only for now, but the team has revealed: ‘Currently, the game is planned to only launch on Steam; however, we may explore other opportunities down the line.’
This tells me they’re releasing in early access on PC for now, like pretty much everyone does, but we will probably release Escape From Playtime on PlayStation, XBOX, Nintendo Switch, and other formats once the time is right—potentially for 1.0.
Is Escape From Playtime Going to be Free? Cost, Explained
Nothing has been made official about the game’s cost status, but it’s more than likely that because the game is releasing in early access, the game won’t be free, as any fees will contribute toward early access development.

Yes, don’t expect Escape From Playtime to be free, but also don’t expect it to be very expensive, as I imagine it’ll be somewhere in the region of recent Poppy Playtime price points.
