Circana has released its game sales data for March 2024, and Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma 2 was the best-selling game in the United States for the month. Helldivers 2, February’s top seller, fell one spot to number two.
Of the 20 games on the list, six of them were new releases. In addition to Dragon’s Dogma 2, also new to the list for March 2024 was MLB The Show 24 at three, Rise of the Ronin at five, Princess Peach: Showtime at six, Unicorn Overlord at eight, and WWE 2K4 at nine.
Remaining strong on the list are Hogwarts Legacy, Madden NFL 24, Minecraft, Rainbow Six: Siege, and Mario Kart 8. Making a jump from 107 to 14 for the month was Horizon 2: Forbidden West which saw the Complete Edition of the game released on PC on March 21.
When it comes to year-to-date sales — December 30, 2023 to April 6, 2024 — Helldivers 2 continues to lead the way followed by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023). Dragon’s Dogma 2 sits at number three for the year while Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth and MLB: The Show 24 round out the top five.

Not surprised but unlike Helldivers 2 people aren’t playing it like that. People tried Dragon’s Dogma 2 but dislike a fair amount of things.
