In a fantasy RPG as immersive as Dragon’s Dogma 2, one typically couldn’t imagine sprinting through the environment. You’d miss out on so many unique opportunities and events! But sometimes, you don’t have a choice. You can sprint in Dragon’s Dogma 2 for numerous reasons, and here’s how!
Sprinting in Dragon’s Dogma 2
This is one of those games best played using a controller. To sprint in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you must click in the left stick or hold down the ‘B’ button to dash. You’ll move at the same speed no matter which button you use to sprint, though a quick dash in combat seems to help you escape from formidable foes more easily. I typically use the thumbstick sprint when traveling. I don’t know if it’s just in my head, but that seems appropriate.
There are plenty of fantastic reasons to use the sprint feature in the game. Whether you’re exhausted from traveling back and forth between Vernworth and Melve, perhaps a troll is on your tail, or harpies are flying overhead, whatever the reason, sprinting is viable!

Does Sprinting Use Stamina in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
Sprinting in Dragon’s Dogma uses stamina, though it regenerates quickly. As you level up your character, your stamina pool will increase, allowing you to sprint longer without running low.
That said, I still recommend using up your stamina wisely. You don’t want to stumble into a bandit ambush and be unable to maneuver away quickly.
