Well, it has been delayed by ‘a few hours’, but that’s enough to rile up some fans. On Twitter, Activision Blizzard shared a short but sweet message highlighting that some ‘complications’ had surfaced and that it would need to push the release date for Season of Blood back by just a few hours.
Since the tweet was posted, no further update has been given, but the update was due to drop around thirty minutes ago, at the time of writing. In the comment section on the post, many fans lamented the delay, stressing that they’d ‘cleared time from their schedule’ specifically to grind Season of Blood.
Be Patient
In a world where some games are delayed by several months, waiting a few extra hours for a new season of Diablo IV to be released isn’t all that bad. It’s the age-old argument – you don’t want it to be released in an unfinished state, right?
There are plenty of changes coming to the game in Season 2 – such as an all-new blood-fuelled questline involving vampires. It’s all about vampiric stuff, basically – vampire gear, vampire powers… Vampires.
There’s a new follower named Erys – voiced by Gemma Chan (from the MCU’s Eternals), and there is a collection of deadly new endgame bosses to fight. There’s plenty up for grabs, basically – but you’ll need to wait a few more hours to get access to it.
