Dead by Daylight Goes FREE on XBOX For All Users This Weekend

XBOX has announced a wave of games going free to play this weekend, including some that are gated by Game Pass, and others that are fully accessible to all XBOX users. Fortunately, the one game with no access restrictions is arguably the best, as it’s absolutely booming right now thanks to a massive tenth-anniversary update.

That’s right, Dead by Daylight is free to play from today until Monday, June 22, for all XBOX users, regardless of whether they have Game Pass or not.

XBOX Free Play Days Games Revealed

This weekend, four games are free to play on XBOX, but some will require you to have an active XBOX Game Pass subscription before you can access them.

First up is PGA Tour 2K25, which is great if you want to avoid enjoying the sunshine outside to instead enjoy the nice weather (perhaps) on the links. Not only is the Free Play Days promotion live to give you a taste of this game, but you can also get a hefty discount if you decide you want to hang onto it forever.

Next, you can get Two Point Museum, one of the most highly rated games ever made and one of the shining gems of Two Point Studios. In this game, you’ll become a gifted curator, designing and running a range of museums to accommodate eager and excited guests.

Third, there’s Assetto Corsa, one of the most beloved and faithful racing simulation titles on the market, giving games like Forza a run for their money. It’s a highly detailed game with masterfully created physics and a massive library of the most attractive cars you’ll ever see.

These games are all accessible to those with XBOX Game Pass at the Ultimate, Premium, or Essential tiers.

But for every XBOX user, there’s another game in store – Dead by Daylight.

DBD recently celebrated its tenth anniversary, introducing a monumental update and bringing arguably the most iconic horror character of all time into the fold – Jason Voorhees. Of course, access to Jason isn’t free, but you can get a sampling of this legendary horror title and see if you want to invest later.
