Embracer Group’s release schedule has been revealed for announced titles, with the next Kingdom Come and Darksiders 4 expected in FY 2027/28.
The last we heard about Kingdom Come’s next installment was the official announcement from Warhorse Studios, which came alongside the LOTR open-world RPG announcement. Players were then informed about a trademark, which may have revealed the game’s title as well. Now, we have an expected release window for it.
Embracer Release Schedule Lists New Kingdom Come and Darksiders 4 for FY 2027/2028
Through Embracer Group’s Q1 interim report for FY2026/2027, players received the release windows for Darksiders 4 and the next Kingdom Come game. On page 11 of their report, players were informed about the publishing and development schedules for the titles that have been announced to date. For Darksiders 4, they have PC XBOX Series X/S, and PS5 under platforms and FY 2027/2028 as the release window. Kingdom Come didn’t have platforms, but it had the same release window.
Other titles in the list included Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War 4, which releases in December 2026, then Stage Tour is listed for holiday 2026. Next is their big month, February 2027, which not only features Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, but also Metro 2039. Then Tomb Raider: Catalyst has been listed for CY 2028. Lastly, there are two new iterations of previous releases that don’t have a release date yet: Deus Ex Remastered and Thief: The Dark Project Remastered.
