Black Ops 6 To Have Theatre Mode, It’s Claimed

Black Ops 6 is mere days away from being revealed by Activision Blizzard, and the leaks are coming thick and fast. In the last few weeks, we’ve been drip-fed content regarding Black Ops 6 – this year’s instalment of Call of Duty – and on June 9, the game’s core premise and the multiplayer are set to be revealed in full.

In the latest leak, it has been claimed that Black Ops 6 will be launching with a theatre mode, which hasn’t made an appearance in a major Call of Duty title since 2020’s Black Ops Cold War.

Theatrical

In 2010, Black Ops was released worldwide with an innovative new feature called ‘theatre mode’, and the Call of Duty content creation scene was forever changed. With theatre mode, players could create mini-movies and montages with a few button presses, diving back into recordings of their recent matches and tweaking them to their heart’s content.

In a recent leak posted on Twitter by BobNetworkUK, a reliable Call of Duty leaker, it was claimed that theatre mode will be coming back alongside Black Ops 6. That makes sense, as the last Call of Duty title to feature the iconic mode was Black Ops Cold War – the most recent game in the Black Ops sub-series.

Not only does this mean that content creators are about to foam at the mouth, but it also means that the shorts game is about to go wild, on-platform clip sharing might be a thing, and cheaters will be identified much easier with players getting the ability to spectate from the perspective of sus gamers with slick gaming chairs.
