Sandfall Interactive’s co-founders have spoken out on speculation regarding Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 getting future DLC and additional expansions, and there’s good news and bad news.
Everyone has waxed lyrical about the sterling job Sandfall Interactive has done with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33—even France’s President. It’s rightfully earned its glowing reputation and adulation. But players are finishing the game and are already desperate for more. The subject of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 DLC and future content has come up in conversation.
Improvements Over New Content For Now in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
In an interview with The Washington Post, Sandfall Interactive co-founders Guillaume Broche and Tom Guillermin talked about a previous Instagram reply from lead writer Svedberg-Yen to a fan.
Broche and Guillermin were quick to dispel talk of DLC and new content, opting to declare that Clair Obscur is: “Focused now on making improvements to the current game.“
If you’re waiting on new content for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, this might not be good reading. But, it doesn’t mean the developer doesn’t have plans for more gameplay. All Broche and Guillermin have said is the focus is making the correct product the best it can be.
