CD Projekt Red is continuing to hire more developers to work on The Witcher 4, Cyberpunk 2, and other internal projects.
During the company’s Q1 2025 earnings report on Wednesday, it was revealed that the studio is up to 730 total developers. That’s an increase from the 707 that was announced back in February.
As far as a breakdown of those developers, 422 of them are working on The Witcher 4 as that will be the next game from the studio to be released, though it won’t release earlier than 2027. After The Witcher 4, 96 developers are now working on Cyberpunk 2. That’s an increase from 84 in February as the game has officially entered pre-production.
Elsewhere 48 developers are working on Project Sirius—The Witcher multiplayer game— and 19 are on Project Hadar. Lastly there are 131 developers working on shared services such as localization, quality assurance and insights and experience while 14 are working on other projects “including unannounced projects developed internally or by third parties”.
