It’s available nearly everywhere, including on Steam. It offers a fantastic mixture of base-building, PvE, and PvP combat with thousands of other players, along with notable characters from the long-running fantasy series.
While I did experience some issues with the game, they weren’t prevalent enough to make me bail on the experience too quickly. For instance, progress is quite slow if you’re unwilling to buy a booster, which may affect end-game.
You’ll spend a significant amount of time and energy building a city, acquiring resources, and even raising dragons to help you turn the tide of combat in GOT: Winter is Coming.;
That said, there are a lot of microtransactions. Many people consider it a pay-to-win mobile game from the get-go, which can mar the overall gameplay experience if you’re not careful.

It’s unusual to find a strategy game on mobile that delves into real-world topics and locales, but that’s precisely what Plarium’s Klondike: The Lost Expedition does, and it does it well!
Klondike takes you to Alaska during the gold rush, searching for a lost expedition and uncovering mysteries across the land. While there, you’ll build up a small settlement with farms and factories to help you trade.;
Once everything is in place, you can set off on an adventure across Alaska. There’s exploration, building, mysteries, treasure, and challenges that kept me playing long after I should have gone to bed!

Of the countless mobile games that make it big, few achieve the level of success or recognition as RAID: Shadow Legends.;
Sure, in many circles, Plarium Games’ idle RPG is a meme. It’s known for sponsoring YouTube content in droves. But that doesn’t make it a lousy game whatsoever.;
In fact, it’s the opposite. RAID: Shadow Legends does a lot right, and the best thing it does is create an entertaining idle RPG that nails progression and provides satisfying rewards that hook you and keep you playing.
At least, that’s my experience with the game.;
Like any idle RPG, you start with a few free heroes provided to you. They’re quite capable, but there’s better to uncover through gameplay and grinding.;
Before long, you have a roster of hundreds of champions to build a competent party with, and you’re defeating bosses and dungeons left and right. It’s such fun!

There is no shortage of strategy games on mobile, especially those that heavily revolve around building a settlement or city and growing it through various ages and periods.;

When you combine settlement building with farming, you have a clear winning formula on your hands.;
They’re two of the most iconic and compelling strategy game subgenres, and Volka Entertainment’s Taonga Island Adventure manages to craft a game worthy of your time and energy.
In Taonga, you will explore various islands, build small settlements and bases, and grow a budding farm into a prosperous enterprise, complete with trains, fields of produce, and renovations to finalize and bolster its appearance and functionality.;
There’s something about starting a small farm with just a handful of crops before expanding into animal husbandry and products and cultivating an enterprise.;
It certainly helps that the game provides regular dopamine hits through rewards and carefully laid-out progression paths!
Is Taonga playable on Android and iOS?
Currently, you can only play Taonga on Android or a web browser.;
There appear to be some workarounds to launch the game on iOS devices, but there are no guarantees!
State of Survival
When it comes to mobile games, I typically jump around. I’ll test out one title, play it for a few hours, and then look for something more my style.;
But I downloaded FunPlus’ State of Survival once, and the zombie apocalypse game has yet to leave my phone’s hard drive. It combines many of my favorite genres, including zombie survival, city-building, and even a few RPG mechanics in the form of equipment and allies.
You’ll start with a small band of survivors trying desperately to survive the zombie apocalypse.;
Before long, you have a bustling base, crops, weapon production, allies to help you defend your safe haven, and so much more. Seeing your progress as you stave off the end of the world is fantastic!
Is State of Survival playable on Android and iOS?
I’m a massive fan of the zombie survival genre, so learning I could play State of Survival on either Android or iOS was an enormous win in my book!
War Thunder
War Thunder, by developer Gaijin Network, has long held its position as the go-to entry point for anyone interested in wargame simulators. More specifically, for those interested in flying old-school fighter planes and roaming a battlefield in a classic tank from World War 2.;
But that was on PC.;
On mobile, such a game didn’t exist for the longest time. Believe it or not, you can play War Thunder in all its glory on mobile devices.
It looks nearly as good as the game on PC, and it controls surprisingly well using a mobile device’s touch-screen control scheme.;
I will say that flying took some getting used to. I spent much time practicing and crashing before nailing my first mid-air takedown. But tanks control intuitively.;
If you’re a fan of the PC version, this one is worth a chance!
