Call of Duty: Warzone is releasing its Season 2 Reloaded update soon, and the star of the show is undoubtedly the new Black Ops Royale game mode. It’s a mashup that’s inspired by the original Blackout battle royale that released with Black Ops 4, and it’s bound to shake up the Warzone scene in a major way.
The action is set to take place on Avalon, the map used in Black Ops 7’s Endgame mode, where 100 players will battle it out for victory. Unlike Warzone, though, there are no loadouts and no Gulag, as you’ll have to scavenge for any gear and equipment.

It’s been eight years since Black Ops 4 released the original Blackout, and in just a few short days, you’ll be able to experience its spiritual successor. It should provide some nice variety when compared to Warzone, which has been the standard for many CoD fans over the past few years.

However, for fans who never got around to playing the original Blackout, there might be some whiplash when you see how different an experience it is from a standard round of Warzone. Thankfully, it’s coming out soon, so you’ll be able to accustom yourself to the new and improved features.
