How to Unlock Pack-A-Punch in Ashes of The Damned
Unlocking the Pack-A-Punch machine in Black Ops 7 Zombies on the Ashes of the Damned map requires restoring power at two separate locations, and jumping into the handy vehicle to make your travels across the map.
Each match in Ashes of the Damned starts at Janus Towers Plaza, and you must travel to at least two more locations on the larger map before the Pack-A-Punch machine is unlocked. It can be quite a lengthy process too, so make sure you’re well stocked up on weapons, Perks, and anything else you need to survive.
After restoring Ol’ Tessie initially, you must travel to one of two locations, Blackwater Lake or Vandorn Farm, and restore the power. From there, both routes lead to Ashwood, where the power must again be restored before access to a garage where the Pack-A-Punch upgrade is waiting to be installed.
Here’s the step-by-step process for easy reading.
- Investigate the Server Room at Janus Towers Plaza, marked on your compass.
- Open the door to the Server Room, costing 1,250 Essence.
- Smash the grate on the floor with a melee attack and pick up T.E.D.D.’s Head.
- Find Ol’ Tessie, the 4×4 vehicle, and hold the interact button to install T.E.D.D’s Head.
- Smash through the wooden panels to head to a new area—either Blackwater Lake or Vandorn Farm.
- Shoot the glowing orbs on the machine at either location before the time limit expires.
- Follow the marker that appears to turn on the power, purchasing any doors along the way.
- Return to Ol’ Tessie and drive to Ashwood.
- Travel up the zipline at Ashwood and unlock the door on the right, costing 1,000 Essence.
- Remove the floating purple debris on the other side of the building, costing 1,750 Essence.
- Clear the infestation, again, by shooting the glowing orange orbs on the machine.
- Follow the marker to turn the power back on.
- Jump back in Ol’ Tessie and drive into the garage, which will open automatically when the power is restored.
- Pick up the Pack-A-Punch upgrade inside the garage.
- Interact with Ol’ Tessie to install the Pack-A-Punch machine.
