Black Ops 6 Reveal to Happen This Month

Dataminers have found references following the latest Warzone update that Black Ops 6, codenamed Cerberus, will be revealed later this month.

The game files contain the reference “s3_cerberus_reveal” on multiple occasions, and a datamined Call of Duty 2024 blueprint reveals “SALLY 6” in tallies, suggesting that this year’s title will be dubbed simply Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

In early April, Insider Gaming corroborated The Verge’s report that the game would be featured at the Xbox Showcase, but it would not be revealed there. Instead, it’s believed that this month, we’ll see the official logo and a short tease of the upcoming game, with the main reveal (and following deep-dive) commencing at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9.

Also found within the game files was a Frank Woods operator for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.

Insider Gaming also reported it’s been said that Xbox is gearing up for an announcement on its back catalog of games following the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, too, so Black Ops 6 might not be the only Call of Duty-related announcement that we’ll be hearing in June.

  • They should make a new Def Jam since they had a ton of rappers in COD just get people who fit the game. Snoop doesn’t need to be there and 21 is fake. Nicki needs to be there though.

  • Really hoping that the Zombies is going to be good. Black Ops 4 was terrible and Cold War was a step in the right direction but nowhere near the heights of World at War and Black Ops 1-3. Don’t like the sound of the open world campaign though since MW3’s was terrible, much rather they just didn’t do the campaign if they’re not going to bother to do it like the previous Blops games.
