Black Ops 6 Cut Content Will Be Pushed to Black Ops 7, It’s Claimed

A prominent Call of Duty leaker on social media has claimed that content stripped from Black Ops 6 will be featured in post-launch updates for Black Ops 7. It was suggested that the first few seasons of Black Ops 7 will be bursting at the seams with content, with the studios working on the game feeding the player base some of the largest seasonal updates ever.

This is all about making sure there’s ‘nothing left on the table’ in the run-up to Modern Warfare 4, which will introduce a major engine overhaul that would leave everything outstanding firmly behind.

Black Ops 7 Could Be Huge

In a post on social media, TheGhostofHope wrote:

The current plan according to sources is for Black Ops 7 to have A LOT of content in Seasons 1 through 4 and then taper off to give Activision time to push Modern Warfare 4 marketing very hard.

Treyarch earlier this year had pulled some of the planned BO6 post launch content and has pushed it to Black Ops 7 so they can repurpose/reskin.

TheGhostofHope is one of the most reliable sources when it comes to Call of Duty information.

Black Ops 7 was revealed earlier this year to a mixed reception, with some welcoming the more futuristic setting, while others mourned some of the more ‘unrealistic’ aspects of the game, like boost packs and active camo upgrades.

In similar news, it was recently confirmed that content from Black Ops 6 won’t carry over into Black Ops 7, even if cut content from the first game’s development will be.

In August, our Tom Henderson exclusively revealed a unique take on the Call of Duty campaign. He unveiled a mechanic that will fuse single player and multiplayer, with the final mission of the game’s story taking on the form of a PvPvE extraction shooter of sorts.

We already know that Black Ops 7 will have more interconnectivity than ever before, with players being able to grind their battle pass content through campaign, multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.
