Starting at 1pm ET/10am PT on Black Ops 6 release day, all three games will be available on the cloud for Game Pass Ultimate members.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the first game in series history to launch day one on Game Pass. Microsoft is hoping that its availability will lead to increased subscriptions to the game service.
“This is a first for the Call of Duty franchise, and a win for the community,” McKissick said. “Players will be able to access multiple Call of Duty games with Xbox Cloud Gaming for the first time, and Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to enjoy Call of Duty in more places than ever before…”
In addition to Xbox Game Pass and Cloud Gaming, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game features a number of changes, including new omnimovement, classic prestige, and more. It was also recently confirmed that the game won’t have campaign early access.
