Is There a Black Myth: Wukong Demo? – Answered

Fans of the upcoming Black Myth: Wukong desperately want to get their hands on the action game that places us in the shoes of the Monkey King. There’s word around town about a gameplay demo, but where? Is there a Black Myth: Wukong demo?

Can You Play a Black Myth: Wukong Demo?

Unfortunately, no Black Myth: Wukong demo is available to the general public. Game Science, the studio behind the upcoming action title, previously unveiled a playable demo at Gamescom, and they launched one in specific Asian countries but not worldwide.

As such, anyone who wishes to play the game must wait patiently until launch day. It’s not far off at this point, but a little practice certainly wouldn’t hurt, right?

When Can You Play Black Myth: Wukong?

As no playable demo is available, you can live vicariously through the various gameplay reveals available online, such as those over on YouTube, or wait until release day. Black Myth: Wukong will launch on PC and PlayStation 5 on August 20. Unfortunately, the Xbox Series X|S version remains slightly delayed, though we’re unsure when it will launch.

While not fully Soulslike, Black Myth: Wukong does appear to take some inspiration from the popular genre. If you want to touch up your skills before jumping in as the Monkey King, we recommend the challenging yet satisfying Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice!
