Ball x Pit has hit a huge new milestone: 1 million, and to celebrate, the devs have announced three free updates for 2026.
The latest title by Kenny Sun & Friends and Devolver Digital, Ball x Pit, has definitely been one of the surprise hit launches of 2025, hitting two major sales milestones within days of launch. Now, less than 2 months after release, the game has hit another sales milestone, reaching 1 million players.
Ball X Pit’s Free Content Updates Will Be Released Between January and July 2026
According to the latest post on Ball x Pit’s official X account (formerly Twitter), the game has reached one million players, and with that, players are set to receive three free content updates across next year. Each of these updates will introduce new balls, evolutions, buildings, characters, and more to the game. The game will receive the Regal update in January 2026, the Shadow update in April 2026, and the Natrualist update in July 2026.
In Ball x Pit, players need to dive straight into a bottomless pit of monsters, where they need to develop arcane ammunition and resources to find treasure and recruit more heroes to their quest. The game features a Ball Fusion system, which lets players experiment with over 60 randomized balls. The world can be expanded with 70 unique buildings that provide gameplay bonuses, unlock power-ups, and introduce characters.
There are a variety of regions in the game, including barren deserts, frozen caverns, savage forests, and more. Every region has its own set of hazards, monsters, and bosses.
