Larian Studios is still hard at work on the Xbox launch of Baldur’s Gate 3, the company’s CEO has revealed. In a recent short but sweet update published on Twitter, Swen Vincke stressed that the green team’s version of the game is still due to be released this year, and it’s actively being playtested as we speak.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the best-selling and most highly reviewed games of the year. It launched to a marvellous reception and shot to the top of the charts the world over, and thanks to constant updates by Larian Studios, it has maintained that trajectory quite nicely.

In the most recent update for Baldur’s Gate 3, which is available on PlayStation 5 and PC, Larian added some sought-after features. This included the ability for players to change their appearance – and the appearance of their ‘hirelings’.
