Balatro Mobile Launching In September

Balatro, one of the biggest hits of the year, is heading to a new platform. Developer LocalThunk has announced that Balatro Mobile is launching on September 26th.

The game will be available via Google Play, the App Store, and Apple Arcade.

“I’m sorry,” LocalThunk said on social media when announcing the mobile version of the game. Obviously it’s one of those “sorry, not sorry” situations as the game’s release on mobile is something fans have been wanting since its first launch earlier this year.

The reveal of Balatro Mobile is the third of three recent announcements from LocalThunk. In addition to the new platform, Balatro received a free “Friends of Jimbo” update last month. It was also announced that a major free gameplay update with “new ideas and strategies” will come to the game in 2025.

More details on that update will be revealed at a later date. Pre-orders for Balatro Mobile are now open.
