Astro Bot is Getting a New Speedrun Level Tomorrow

As announced during PlayStation’s State of Play event in September, Astro Bot will release new content on October 17, which includes a speedrun level and some new bots.

The new Astro Bot speedrun level, Building Speed, will test players’ platforming skills and allow them to compete on an online leaderboard with their PlayStation friends. In Building Speed, players will have Barkster, the Bulldog Booster, on their back, which helps them zip around the sky city. You will encounter obstacles like cranes, find crates to smash, and encounter a flying car with your stranded crew on this level.

Team Asobi will release new Astro Bot levels every week from October 17 to November 14, starting with Building Speed. Each new level will be available every Thursday at 6:00 AM PT, 2:00 PM BST and 10:00 PM JST. Check out the complete list of upcoming Astrobot speedrun levels and their dates below.

  • October 17: Building Speed
  • October 24: Let it Slide
  • October 31: Spring-loaded Run
  • November 7: Helium Heights
  • November 14: Rising Heat

Moreover, along with the Astro Bot speedrun levels, a pair of Special Bots will also arrive each week. 2 Special bots will be released with each level, allowing players to gather another 10. Of these 10, Eve from Stellar Blade and Helldivers have been revealed; players should keep an eye out for the next ones.

In other news, Astro Bot was the second-best-selling PS5 game during launch week. Also, check out whether the game has a co-op mode. What are your thoughts on the new Astro Bot speedrun level? Let us know in the comments or our new community forum!
