Free new DLC for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, called Valley of Memory, has been revealed with a new trailer and November release date.
Released in 2023, Mirage takes players to 9th-century Baghdad. You play as Basim Ibn Ishaq, whose older self appears as Eivor’s mentor in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The game was a great way to satisfy classic Assassin’s Creed fans who weren’t into the new RPG system found in Odyssey and Origins. A few weeks ago, free DLC for Mirage was announced, though not much was known outside of a few details. Now, with the full reveal, we have some more to go off of, and it looks great.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Valley of Memory Gets Release Date, New Trailer
In an anniversary livestream, the free DLC, Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Valley of Memory, is given a full reveal. We see Basim return in order to learn more about his past, specifically for his long-lost father. Set in Al Ula, you’ll resume Basim’s story with new content and a new map. Furthermore, the DLC now has a release date: November 18th, 2025.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Valley of Memory looks to be a big DLC expansion for the 2023 title. Given its connection to Valhalla, perhaps we can see how Basim gets to where he is then. Just recently, Shadows got its first and only free story expansion with Claws of Awoji, which added new missions and weapons. Luckily, Mirage is available on Xbox Game Pass (as are most of the AC titles), so you can catch up on the game before the DLC arrives on November 18th.
