ARC Raiders Update Adds Major New Map Location Nod

The latest ARC Raiders update, Flashpoint, is doing the rounds online. Fans have taken a deep dive into the new overhaul, which adds a fresh ARC threat, a new map condition, two new weapons, and a slew of cosmetics. However, away from the patch notes, some secrets have also been added, and extraction fans everywhere are quickly uncovering them.

At the top of the hidden content table sits a bunch of new knick-knacks added to the map selection screen that directly indicate where we’re going next with the Riven Tides update. That’s set to drop next month, and it’ll introduce our first new ARC Raiders map since Stella Montis dropped last year.

New ARC Raiders Map – ‘IT’S HERE’

The next time you boot ARC Raiders, you’ll want to head to the map selection screen to take a look at where we’re headed next.

Embark Studios has quietly added a string of notes, salvaged items, and photographs to the bottom corner of the world’s map, suggesting that we’re heading to the bottom-left of the map in Riven Tides.

Anyone who knows anything about ARC Raiders will have spotted this as the most likely location for a new map months ago.

It’s down near Volcano Rise, and it features a sketch of a destroyed sea wall along a coastal stretch, but the new items added to the map board are much more telling than a scribble. There are notes in Italian and English that mention a hotel, a crane system, and that point to a photograph pinned to the board and directly say the new map ‘looks like this’.

There are some hotel-related items on the board, such as a room key and a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign, which has taken some fire damage at some point before it was salvaged and brought back to Speranza.

This is the biggest hint possible we’ve ever had as to where the next ARC Raiders map will be, and it gels with everything we’ve learned so far.
