Embark Studios has just released Patch 1.21.0 for ARC Raiders, and it’s a small update that largely focuses on in-game issues and exploits. That being said, a new set of cosmetics has arrived to sweeten the deal, with a Raider Tool and Backpack set available for purchase.
Of course, this is all a prelude for March’s big Flashpoint update, which should bring a swathe of new content to the game, including a new ARC threat, as well as a new Map Condition.
ARC Raiders Fixes Numerous Exploits
With a live service title like ARC Raiders, there’s always going to be new waves of exploits and glitches discovered by the community. Some can be match-defining, whilst others are just downright silly, and it seems like the 1.21.0 update impacts them all.
The main fix this time around is to an exploit that allowed players to walk through walls while picking up items such as Fuel Cells or Field Crates. Some mischievous players were using this to reach areas they shouldn’t be able to, whilst ambushing other raiders who thought they were safe.
Thankfully, that seems to have been addressed and removed from the game, whilst other simpler glitches, like players getting stuck in the Harvester, have also been remedied.
The full ARC Raiders 1.21.0 Patch Notes are listed below:
- New Raider Tool.
- New Backpack set.
- Fixed a crash that would sometimes occur with DirectX 11.
- Fixed an issue where players could get stuck inside the Harvester and between destroyed ARC parts.
- Fixed an issue where ARC would spawn inside geometry.
- Fixed an exploit that allowed players to walk through walls while picking up a Fuel Cell or Field Crate.
