Oxide Games and Microsoft have released a new look for Ara: History Untold during the Xbox Developer Direct show on Thursday. In addition to the deep dive, it was announced that the game will release in Fall 2024.
The deep dive into the game, shows off a look at the games visuals and features while diving into the motivations behind various decisions in the game.
The game’s procedurally generated map was showcased as a living world that players will have to manage and explore. Ara: History Untold also features a prestige system that will allow players to choose and manage how they want to play the game. Lastly, Oxide showed off the game’s crafting system that will let players create the tools, improvements, and buildings for their nation.
Ara: History Untold is turn-based strategy game that sees players build up and lead a nation through an alternate historical timeline.
“Build a nation and lead your people throughout history to the pinnacles of human achievement as you explore new lands, develop arts and culture, conduct diplomacy, and go head-to-head with your rivals to prove you are the greatest ruler ever known,” the game’s description reads.
Ara: History Untold releases in Fall 2024 exclusively on PC.
