Brazilian powerhouse Alpha 7 Esports has claimed victory at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025, held in Bangkok, Thailand. The squad was able to push past 39 other teams to secure the lion’s share of the $3 million prize pool. This effectively cements the team as one of the best squads in the PUBG Mobile scene.
Alpha7 qualified for the PMGC after finishing as the runner-up in the PUBG Mobile Super League Americas Fall 2025 qualifier. The result threw them into a tough gauntlet that they succeeded in, getting closer to the PUBG Mobile Global Champions trophy.
Alpha7 is the Best in the World at PUBG Mobile
Across three days and a whopping 18 matches of PUBG Mobile, teams battled for survival against all comers. On the final day, which is always seen as being the most dramatic, Smash Rules came into play. Once a team hit the point threshold, they became ‘match-point eligible’.
Alpha7 surged midway through the run with back-to-back wins, climbing the leaderboard with ease. By the time match 16 came around, they were the first team to reach match-point eligibility. They were later joined by immediate rivals Alpha Gaming and ULF Esports, but it wasn’t enough, as Alpha7 went on shortly after to secure a historic win.
As the tournament closed out, KRAFTON confirmed the PUBG Mobile esports roadmap for 2026. This packed schedule includes the Esports World Cup, two Global Open tournaments, and multiple National Championship rounds. Next year, around this same time, we’ll be heading to the 2026 PUBG Mobile Global Championship.
