In a report published by Kotaku, it has been claimed that Ubisoft is remaking Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. It’s news that has surfaced while the developer is still neck-deep in the difficulties presented through the production of Skull & Bones, so it may seem a little bizarre that another pirate-themed title is in development.
However, consider for a moment that Black Flag was easily one of the best Assassin’s Creed games ever to release, and it starts making sense. In the article published by Kotaku, it was stressed that the sources of this news are unwilling to be named – as is expected – but they’re ‘familiar’ with the plans that are in their ‘earliest stages’ as we speak.
