During the latest State of Play event, PlayStation finally revealed the PS Plus Extra and Premium additions for across the year, through Games Catalog and Classic Catalog games.
PlayStation Plus recently implemented a price increase across all its tiers. June will be the first month following this increase, and players are eager to discover which games will be offered. Thanks to the Days of Play sale, some June games have already been revealed, along with an addition to the PS Plus Game Catalog for June 2026: Destiny 2: The Legacy Collection.
PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Brings Runescape Dragonwilds
There was a different announcement from Sony at the State of Play event, revealing PlayStation Plus Game Catalog titles for PS Plus Extra and Premium members that will be available through the year. Only one Game Catalog title was revealed, Runescape: Dragonwilds which comes as a Day One release in Fall 2026.
Classics Catalog
Classics Catalog has had a different announcement, revealing games coming across the next few months.
- Gitaroo Man in June 2026
- PSI-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy in July 2026
- Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams in August 2026
There are three tiers that players can subscribe to through PS Plus: Essential, Extra, and Premium, with each providing more benefits for a higher price. With Essential, players get access to free monthly games, online multiplayer, discounts, and more. PS Plus Extra members get access to the Game Catalog, a library of PS5 and PS4 games that is updated each month. Last is Premium, which includes all the previous benefits, plus a Classics Catalog, game trials, cloud streaming, and more.
