Yes, Forza Horizon 6 is available to play on Xbox Game Pass without a separate purchase, though there are some limitations.
Xbox Game Pass’s various price tiers mean not every subscription will be eligible to play Forza Horizon 6 for free, and some may have to pay the up-front cost to gain access to the game.
The good news is, progress is saved across all devices via the Xbox Play Anywhere service, so you won’t have to fork out twice if you want to play on more than one platform.

What Version of Forza Horizon 6 is on Game Pass?
Game Pass membership includes only the Standard Edition of Forza Horizon 6, and, therefore, does not provide four days of early access.
The Premium Edition of Forza Horizon 6 opens the door for players on May 15, four days ahead of the full release, but these benefits are not available for those with a Game Pass subscription.
However, rather than forking out for the Premium Edition in full, those with Standard Edition access through Xbox Game Pass can purchase the Premium Edition Upgrade Bundle for $59.99.

What Game Pass Subscription Tier is Needed For Forza Horizon 6?
Forza Horizon 6 is only available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers with either an Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription.
Microsoft’s changes to the Game Pass structure in October 2025 mean only Ultimate Game Pass subscribers have access to Forza Horizon 6, and other first-party titles, on their launch day.
Those with a Premium Game Pass subscription will gain access to Forza Horizon 6 within a year of launch, but those with an Essential Game Pass subscription won’t have access to Forza Horizon 6.
