WWE’s Cody Rhodes Crashes CinemaCon Dressed As Street Fighter’s Guile

The upcoming Street Fighter movie made a splash at CinemaCon, thanks in large part to one of its biggest stars. WWE’s Cody Rhodes turned heads as he arrived fully suited up as Guile, the iconic fighter he’s set to portray in the live-action adaptation.

Rhodes was officially unveiled as a cast member four months ago, but his appearance at the event made it clear just how invested he is in bringing the character to life. Dressed in Guile’s signature look, he joined the rest of the cast to promote the film as anticipation continues to build.

New Street Fighter Trailer Coming Very Soon

The cast’s appearance comes just as excitement ramps up for the film’s next major reveal. A new trailer has been teased on social media and is set to release publicly at 11 AM PT, meaning you won’t have to wait much longer to get a fresh look at the movie.

That said, attendees at CinemaCon have already had an early preview—and initial reactions suggest it’s one worth getting excited about. Promotional flyers have also started appearing worldwide, many placed near iconic locations in the game’s classic stages, further fuelling hype.

According to early details, the film will follow Ryu and Ken as they reunite after Chun-Li recruits them to take part in the World Warrior Tournament. However, a deeper conspiracy threatens to tear them apart, forcing the pair to confront their past—or risk total destruction.

With the movie set to release on October 16, 2026, you won’t have to wait much longer until you can see whether this latest video game adaptation lives up to expectations.
