Major releases continue to come thick and fast in 2026, and one of the earliest titles in April that players will have their eyes cast towards is Darwin’s Paradox, which is set to be available on many platforms.
The Konami-published title brings a new platformer onto the scene, fresh off the heels of the likes of Super Meat Boy 3D, putting players in control of an octopus travelling back to the sea.
If you’re tempted to grab Darwin’s Paradox but want to know which platforms the title is available on, Insider Gaming has all the details.
Is Darwin’s Paradox on PlayStation?

Yes, Darwin’s Paradox is available on PlayStation, and it is not a platform exclusive, so there are no limitations in that regard.
However, Darwin’s Paradox is only available on PlayStation 5, and those on the last-gen PlayStation 4 console will have to go without.
That could be a blow for those who only have a PS4, particularly with the recent price hikes to PS5 consoles.
Is Darwin’s Paradox on Xbox?
Yes, Darwin’s Paradox is available on Xbox platforms, as it is not a platform exclusive, but there are still some limitations.
Similar to the PlayStation situation, Darwin’s Paradox is only available on Xbox Series X|S, and is not available on the last-gen console, Xbox One.
Considering how deep Xbox is into the X|S era, with attention already starting to shift to next-gen, it should be no surprise that Xbox One misses out.

Is Darwin’s Paradox on Nintendo Switch?
Yes, Darwin’s Paradox is available on Nintendo Switch platforms, and given the style of game, the hybrid handheld console may be a popular choice for the title.
It’s the same situation as PlayStation and Xbox, however, where only the current-gen model is supported. Therefore, Darwin’s Paradox is available on Nintendo Switch 2, but not the original Nintendo Switch console.
With 2026 marking the first full year of Switch 2, expect these limitations to occur more with upcoming titles.
Is Darwin’s Paradox on PC?
Yes, Darwin’s Paradox is available on PC, and given there are no generational requirements on this platform, it will be more accessible for PC players.
There are still some limitations, however, as the PC must be able to match the minimum requirements for the game. This only provides operation at a basic level, however, and meeting the recommended requirements is the better option.
If you don’t match the requirements, it’s not the end of your options, however, as there are a growing number of streaming options.
