Fortnite’s regular content drops are continuing, and while it’s only been a few weeks since Chapter 7, Season 2 kicked off, a fresh update is on the horizon.
The Battle Royale behemoth is enduring a bit of a turbulent period following Epic Games‘ mass layoffs, which have led to players raising concerns about the long-term stability of the title, but Fortnite is not slowing down anytime soon.

When is The Next Fortnite Update?
Fortnite’s next update is set to arrive on Wednesday, April 1, when Epic Games deploys v40.10 into the fold.
Epic Games is pretty settled into regular updates, deploying major updates alongside downtime every two weeks. With the launch of the latest season on March 19, it’s now time for a new update and a fresh slew of additional content in the game.

It’s far from the end of Chapter 7, Season 2, however, which is due to continue until early June, but it will mark the start of a new season in Fortnite OG.
What’s Coming in Fortnite v40.10?
The biggest drop in Fortnite’s v40.10 update is undoubtedly the start of a new season in Fortnite OG, which is making the transition into Season 8.
Fortnite OG Season 1 rolls the clock back to 2019, providing revamped content based on Fortnite Chapter 1, Season 8, including the return of the popular Avengers: Endgame LTM mode that pitted the Avengers and the Chitauri against each other.

Additionally, skins are coming to the shop for the Italian Brainrot collab, including Tung Tung Sahur and Ballerina Cappuccina, alongside a Super Meat Boy 3D sidekick.
The Chapter 7 Season 2 Battle Pass will also see bonus reward Super Styles unlocked, alongside a slew of leaks concerning Save The World’s transition into free-to-play.
Additional leaks are also likely to surface, showcasing what to expect in the next Fortnite Festival season and the upcoming LEGO Fortnite Battle Pass, alongside the reveal of further upcoming collabs.
