The cartoonish aesthetic might be tempting you into MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, or maybe it’s just the outlandish violence. Either way, if you want to know if MOUSE: P.I. For Hire has early access or a demo to roll the movie ASAP, we’ve got you covered.
Insider Gaming has labeled MOUSE: P.I. For Hire as one of the biggest shooters of 2026. This means we’re excited for Jack Pepper to stomp on criminals, and you might feel the same. This is why you need to know about getting the game earlier in any way.
Can You Play MOUSE: P.I. For Hire Early Access?

There is no form of MOUSE: P.I. For Hire early access, which means you have to wait until launch day for the full game.

One thing most definitely not included in any version of the game is early access. So, you can’t pay extra for the privilege to play 24, 48, or even 72 hours ahead of the official release date.
Does MOUSE: P.I. For Hire Have A Demo?
There is no official MOUSE: P.I. For Hire demo to download on any storefront, and it’s unclear if Fumi Games will release one later on.
The days of demo discs are so far behind us now, and even free demos on digital stores aren’t happening as much nowadays. It’s definitely a ‘boomer’ view, but it’s a sad sign of the times. Everyone can see gameplay footage and previews online everywhere in the modern era, and they’re essentially demos, but not really, as you don’t get to try it yourself.

Insider Gaming did get to play an exclusive press demo for MOUSE, but that covers the extent of the game’s demo status. We’ll have to wait and see if the shooter gets a public demo, and if it does, check back for new updates, as we’ll let you know!
It’s sad that there’s no early access, in some ways, but good in others. It’s fun when everyone gets to play something at the same time.
