Fortnite’s seasonal change has come with the standard refresh of content, including a new batch of bosses to find, and the Ice King is one of the characters ready to challenge in Chapter 7 Season 2.
Ice King plays a huge part in the season, with players asked to choose between his side or the side of the Foundation, and a slew of additional content will be introduced to the game as the season progresses and each side furthers progression to meet specific goals.

Where to Find Ice King in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2
As has become the norm in Fortnite, the Ice King does not have a fixed spawn location in Chapter 7 Season 2, and can instead be encountered in several locations.
While this can be frustrating if you’re hunting down the boss for a specific quest or for a particular piece of loot, it helps to make each match more varied, reducing the likelihood of a swarm of players all descending upon the same landing spot.
The best place to search for the Ice King is, unsurprisingly, around Frigid Fortress. However, while the boss can be located within the POI itself, make sure to check the surrounding areas. With the Ice King, pretty much any area on the map covered in snow is a possible spawn location.

A minimap icon won’t appear until you’re within close proximity to the Ice King, but he should be easier to spot from a distance, particularly as he will always be accompanied by Lady Windfrost.
Make sure you’re well prepared for a battle against Ice King, as Lady Windfrost will also engage in combat if you shoot either of them, or get too close to the pair.
It’s wise to focus on eliminating Lady Windfrost first, as she is equipped with Chug Splashes and will heal the Ice King, and taking her out of the equation removes that healing aspect.
All Ice King Loot Drops in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2
The biggest draw to defeating the Ice King in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 is obtaining the Mythic Ice Gauntlets, but they’re not activated in-game yet.
The Mythic Ice Gauntlets will be available when Team Ice King has reached a specified point this season, which may take a fair while. You can, however, track progress on the Showdown page within Fortnite or on the webpage.

Before the Mythic Ice Gauntlets are added to the loot pool, defeating the Ice King provides a Self Revive, Gold Bars, and ammunition, while Lady Windfrost drops a weapon and some Shield items.
