Epic Games has refreshed Fortnite with Chapter 7 Season 2, and one of the biggest new features is the Skyline Deployer. We’re always getting fun new ways to get around in the shooter, and the Skyline Deployer is both a great tool and a requirement for a quest.
It must be hard to keep Fortnite fresh after nearly 10 years. Yet, Epic keeps doing it, which is why we all keep coming back season after season. The Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 Weapons features old and new gadgets, whereas the Skyline Deployer is flat-out new.
How to Get Skyline Deployer in Fortnite

The Skyline Deployer is a Rare Loot Drop in Fortnite, meaning you can either find one yourself searching through chests, or you can pick one up from a fallen player.
You’ll be pleased to know the Skyline Deployer is only Blue-Rarity, so you won’t have to go digging for too long to find one. You get a few shots with it as well, so you shouldn’t feel shortchanged about adding one to your inventory for now.

But yes, Insider Gaming advises you to drop into a game, find a relatively isolated spot—preferably well away from popular drop spots—and go hunting for loot and chests.
Furthermore, keep an eye out for loot pools. Fallen players always drop their loot on elimination, and there’s a chance you can find one on a defeated body—maybe avoid action yourself if you want to ‘Use the Skyline Deployer’ three times for the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 Week 1 Quest.
How to Use Skyline Deployer in Fortnite
Equip the Skyline Deployer and aim it somewhere in front of you, and the weapon will simultaneously launch you into the air and extend a long line, which you will automatically attach to and travel down at speed.
In short, press the fire button, and it works! It really is as simple as that.

Doing so will complete the Week 1 quest and instantly net you 20,000 XP. But the gadget itself is terrific if you find yourself in a pinch, as you can quickly get out of a skirmish, and its versatility means you can aim it high and get to hard-to-reach places that require a lot of verticality.
