The hacker behind the GTA 6 leaks from a couple of years ago has suggested that the game’s source might already be in someone’s hands.
For those unaware, a hacker who was responsible for a variety of massive leaks was sentenced to an indefinite hospital order for leaking GTA 6 information. They were also sentenced to an 18-month-long Youth Rehabilitation Order with “intense supervision and a ban on using VPNs online”. However, they are now back online, stirring up some more controversy regarding Rockstar’s highly anticipated title.
GTA 6 Hacker Surprised that Source Code Hasn’t Leaked
According to recent posts by videotechuk_ on X (formerly Twitter), GTA 6 hacker Arion Kurtaj has managed to smuggle a phone inside a UK prison and is mentioning the game’s source code. An image has also surfaced online featuring Kurtaj, featuring the caption “bro Hmp dead, waiting trial for some bullshit hacking charge”. Kurtaj seems to be sharing this information through the social media platform, Snapchat.
In another tweet, videotechuk_ shared a conversation between Omar and Arion Kurtaj about GTA 6. Omar initially stated that GTA 6 is “out somewhere too,” to which Kurtaj replied, “Definitely somewhere.” Kurtaj then asked, “Did the source not get leaked?” Omar responded, “5 leaked, 6 not.” Kurtaj concluded the conversation by stating, “Interesting. No further comment on that matter.”
Regardless, readers should treat this information with caution, as the hacker didn’t provide any evidence that the GTA 6 source code is in anyone’s hands.
In other news, new GTA 6 leaks contain developmental footage from the game captured years ago and forgotten. Additionally, the game’s pre-orders and price could surface soon based on new PlayStation data. What are your thoughts on the GTA 6 hacker suggesting the source code is out in the wild?
