How To Solve Final Puzzle In Resident Evil Requiem—Full Solution Walkthrough & Answers

When you think you’ve done everything in Resident Evil Requiem, there’s likely to be one challenge left if you don’t know how to complete it: The Final Puzzle. Questions about how to solve it have battered the game’s early days.

‘The Final Puzzle’ is one of the many challenges in Resident Evil Requiem. Don’t be surprised if it’s the last one you end up ticking off, if ever. It’s extremely mysterious, and even Capcom has given very little away about it.

Has The Final Puzzle Been Completed Yet In Resident Evil Requiem?

Yes, the complete solution for The Final Puzzle has been discovered in Resident Evil Requiem.

This is a double-edged sword: On one hand, the mystery is over, and the conundrum has been solved. Unfortunately, it took a huge datamine to come to this conclusion; it wasn’t solved naturally.

As reported by SynthPotato: “Rantsycancy and Kyro are the first people in the world to figure it out.”

We’ll get onto the method shortly, but some applause should go to Gengar Collects. The Pokémon collector didn’t find the method, but they do appear to have been the first person in the world to complete The Final Puzzle—albeit completely by chance.

Given the solution and steps involved, the odds must be astronomical.

How To Solve The Final Puzzle In Resident Evil Requiem

You need to go through a series of abstract and almost illogical steps to complete The Final Puzzle, including waiting 15 minutes in the meat processing section, not killing Zombies in the conveyor belt survival section, flushing a toilet eight times, and much more.

Let’s just get straight into the walkthrough, thanks to Rantsycancy and Kyro:

  1. Wait 15 minutes in the Processing room (where all the bodies and Zombies are being thrown into the vat below) to “increase the game’s flag check from 0 to 2.”
  2. Trigger the conveyor sequences where you need to avoid being caught up in the meat grinder.
  3. You CANNOT kill any zombies in this sequence.
  4. Progress until you’re back in the Care Center.
  5. Head to the Restroom in the West Wing.
  6. Flush one of the toilets eight times exactly.
  7. This sets the game’s flag to 14.
  8. Advance through the game again until you get to the part just after the cutscene with Victor Gideon talking on the phone in the underground section of The Courtyard (in your hunt for the helicopter key).
  9. Once the self-destruct sequence is activated, you need to escape. However, if you’ve done everything correctly, Marie’s Doll will spawn at the base of a set of stairs as you try to leave.
  10. Complete Resident Evil Requiem with the doll in the inventory box.
  11. Begin a new save file.
  12. Reach the puzzle machine in the Lead Researcher’s Office, but up to the point where you can carry Emily around.
  13. With Emily in hand, go up to the machine and enter Sun, Sun, Star, then Sun, Moon, Star, then Sun, Moon, Sun, and finally Moon, Star, Moon.
  14. A child’s laugh plays, and a prompt should appear saying: “Congratulations! You let the sweet pair hear the voice. Please check Challenges.”

The whole ‘flag check’ stuff seems like datamine jargon, so we can’t help you too much there. All that is known right now is that this method can tick off the game’s most complex and challenging task.

If you’re still having trouble understanding how to do this, the original video is here, so you can follow it step by step with a visual aid.

What Is The Final Puzzle In Resident Evil 9?

The Final Puzzle is a convoluted challenge that requires you to input a very specific and long strand of code while making sure to follow a precise set of instructions.

The Final Puzzle subreddit was a huge help in deciphering the code you enter into the puzzle machine, and you can follow how each answer was worked out. Honestly, a big congratulations to all who worked together to crack this.

  • You need to pick up the Severed Hand and analyze it using one of Requiem’s two Laser Microscopes.
  • It gives you this message: Let’s play. GGC AAG AUA ACG UGU CAU.
  • When you find the Hourglass in the hunt for the Helicopter key, tip it upside down to remove all sand, and it reveals a message: U = 380,000.
  • The Moon is roughly 380,000 kilometers from the Earth, making U represent Moon.
  • The Research Facility beneath the Care Center’s Courtyard has Grace Ashcroft’s Blood Analysis Report.
  • C = 4.2 ly is the final entry, and according to the subreddit (because this is too smart for us): “The distance to the nearest Star (that is not the Sun) happens to be 4.2 light years away.”
  • Making C represent Star.
  • Furthermore, on the side of the Laser Microscope in the Blood Lab, it says ‘G = 150,000,000.’
  • Long story short, ignore the science; it’s the sun. G represents the Sun.
  • The mystery surrounding the letter ‘A’ borderlines Sherlock Holmes-levels of detective work.
    • Defeat Super Tyrant behind RPD.
    • Access the shortcut through the basketball court.
    • Kick the Toy Uncle Bobblehead on the ground into the fallen hoop nearby.
    • You should hear a door unlocking sound effect.
    • Go to the bobblehead in Kendo’s Shop, interact with the torso, and it says: “Just ignore A.
  • All values are now known for ‘GGC AAG AUA ACG UGU CAU.’
  • Enter the following into the puzzle machine in the Lead Researcher’s Office: Sun, Sun, Star, then Sun, Moon, Star, then Sun, Moon, Sun, and finally Moon, Star, Moon.
  • A child’s laughter plays, but this still isn’t enough to solve The Final Puzzle right now!
