Fans of Marvel superheroes will be able to play more than a dozen classic games with a newly announced collection from Limited Run Games
Marvel MaXimum Collection was just announced during IGN Fan Fest 2026. It’s a collection of games coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X/S, and Steam. At this time, no release date has been announced, but the game is available to be wishlisted.
What’s included in Nintendo Marvel MaXimum Collection?
The trailer boasts the return of several classic 8-bit and 16-bit games. The description notes that 13 titles will be featured altogether. Some of the games on display included Captain America and the Avengers, Spider-Man/Venom: Maximum Carnage, Venom/Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety, and the classic X-Men arcade game from 1992. Handheld titles will also be included in this collection.
Additional features include Rollback Netcode, allowing six players to play online in X-Men: The Arcade Game. There’s also a Save Anywhere, an in-game rewind option, a museum, and more.
The X-Men arcade game was once briefly playable on Xbox Live Arcade during the Xbox 360 generation. but would be delisted upon license expiration. Insider Gaming will continue to provide updates on the forthcoming collection as more information is made available.

Konami should instead put out other collections the 2003 TMNT games all of them, Botkai, 3D Bomberman, 3D Goemon, Zone Of Enders, Nura Rise Of The Yokai Clan, Shaman King, Willy Wombat, Bloody Roar, Hard Corp Uprising, all of those.
