Embark Studios revealed its future plans for ARC Raiders, with the first four months of 2026 all laid out nicely with a roadmap. So far, fans enjoyed the smaller Headwinds release back in January, but it’s finally time for a bigger update, with Shrouded Sky on the horizon.
It’s these substantial updates that keep live-service titles like ARC Raiders alive and kicking, and although Bird City was a fun distraction, the Rust Belt could do with some big changes. Well, it looks like those updates are inching ever nearer, as Shrouded Sky is set to soar into the game pretty soon.
Here’s when you can expect Shrouded Sky to arrive in ARC Raiders, as well as what content has been confirmed for the update.
When Does Shrouded Sky Release In ARC Raiders?
Embark Studios has confirmed that the Shrouded Sky update will arrive in ARC Raiders on February 24, 2026.
Whilst it may have been surprising to see some content for January back when the roadmap was revealed, it was February that everyone was excited for.

Shrouded Sky is expected to launch at the usual update times for ARC Raiders, but in case you’re unfamiliar with those, Insider Gaming has them listed down below:

All Shrouded Sky Confirmed Content For ARC Raiders
As announced with the roadmap, six new pieces of content can be expected to drop with the Shrouded Sky update for ARC Raiders.
These are the following:
- New Map Condition
- New ARC Threat
- Player Project
- Raider Deck
- Map Update
- Expedition Window
Embark has finally revealed all of the details for the upcoming Shrouded Sky update. From the new Hurricane Map Modifier to the two new ARC threats, there’s a lot to unpack, and Insider Gaming has it all down below.
Before diving into the gameplay changes, there are a handful of new menus to explore. The new Raider Deck, titled the Surgeon, will be released with a variety of cosmetic and useful items, as well as the brand-new Weather Monitoring System Project. Shani has tasked you with collecting materials to build the system so that weather hazards like the Hurricane won’t catch you off guard again in the future.
Speaking of the Hurricane, the new Major Map Condition is ready to blow you away—literally. Insider Gaming has a whole article breaking the Hurricane down, but here’s what you can expect: reduced visibility, strong winds that damage shields and obstruct movement, and First Wave Raider Caches being uncovered.

As if that wasn’t threatening enough, Embark unveiled two new ARC threats: the Firefly, a souped-up Wasp with an underbelly flamethrower; and the Comet, another spherical ARC that explodes, except this time with a seismic boom.
Finally, there’s the brand new Map Update, and it’s coming to Dam Battlegrounds. The Controlled Access Zone is a new High Value loot zone that’s been uncovered, and you’ll know you’re there thanks to the Rocketeer chandelier—how fancy.
