The State of Play kicked off guns blazing, announcing Ghost of Yotei Legends’ March 2026 release date at the very start of the event.
Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Yotei is definitely a successful launch; PlayStation revealed that it is already beating the previous title in sales in the same period. However, players have been wanting more from the title for a long time, and the developers have now delivered a full-fledged multiplayer expansion for Yotei.
Ghost of Yotei Legends is a Free DLC for Existing Owners
The premise of Ghost of Yotei Legends revolves around the demonic Yotei six, including the Spider, the Oni, the Kitsune, and the Snake. Players can check out this title with up to 4 players through online co-op as they battle against the enemies. There are four playable classes to choose from. Ghost of Yotei Legends releases on March 10, 2026, as a free DLC for existing owners. Check out the trailer below:
It seems that the upcoming title will receive the same treatment as the previous titles’ multiplayer expansion, Ghost of Tsushima Legends. The previous game also had four classes: Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, and Assassin, where you could take on two-player story missions or four-player survival missions, and even a survival mode. Players could also gather more powerful gear, improve their abilities, and learn new techniques.
The gameplay details for Ghost of Yotei Legends haven’t been detailed yet, but the information is expected to arrive soon, with the game arriving next month.
