2026 is set to be a mammoth year for gaming, and Xbox Game Pass subscribers have plenty to look forward to with their subscription, as a host of new releases are dropping day one.
Microsoft’s approach of having all first-party titles available on the launch day with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription has proven to be a solid move, and there’s a stacked list of titles coming this year to Xbox Series X, Series S, and PC.
Insider Gaming has identified them all, providing details on the games with an exact release date, as well as a rundown of the other games coming in 2026 that do not yet have a solid release date.
Every Xbox Game Pass New Release in 2026
February 2026
MENACE – Feb. 5
After a delay last year, MENACE‘s early access release is set for February 5, 2026, and there’s already been a playable demo available for the tactical title that puts players in control of a strike force against an alien threat. The turn-based tactical RPG comes from Overhype Studios, the developer of Battle Brothers.
Relooted – Feb. 10
Launching Day One on Game Pass, Relooted tasks players with reclaiming real African artefacts from Western museums in a futurist heist game. Players can recruit crew members and plan escape routes as they channel their inner mastermind thief persona.
Starsand Island – Feb. 12
Starsand Island releases into early access on PC and Xbox, with the life-sim providing an experience that lovers of the likes of Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Stardew Valley will fall in love with. From capybaras to fishing, there’s plenty to discover in this idyllic landscape.
High on Life 2 – Feb. 18
High on Life 2, a sequel to the original title from Squanch Games, lands on Xbox Game Pass day one on February 18, 2026, putting a whole new arsenal of foul-mouthed weapons into the hands of players.
May 2026
Forza Horizon 6 – May 19
The latest entry to the Forza Horizon franchise sees Playground Games take the title to Japan, a location highly-requested by the community, featuring a massive Tokyo cityscape, five times larger than any city previously in the Horizon series, with over 500 cars available at launch.
