How to Hire Characters in Fortnite x The Simpsons
The steps to hire a character in The Simpsons mini-season in Fortnite are shown below.
- Enter a game of Battle Royale or Zero Build.
- Find a character who is available to hire on the mini-map.
- Head to the character location.
- Interact with the character and select the ‘Hire’ option.
- Pay the required amount of gold.
Hired characters will remain active until you are eliminated, or they have been defeated by another player. Remember, there are only a select number of hireable characters in each match and another player may beat you to it, so it’s advised you head directly to the required NPC on landing.
All Character Hire Locations in Fortnite x The Simpsons
There are three characters available to hire in The Simpsons mini-season in Fortnite, scattered across Springfield Island.
Each has different bonuses due to their Specialist nature, providing a scan of the environment to locate loot and enemy players, providing healing, or providing a ready supply of ammunition.
The three characters are quite spread out on the map, however, so it’s not easy to check each spot if your initial target has already been recruited. This can be countered easily by finding a vehicle, as the map this season is small and is quick to traverse across when driving.
