FromSoftware has confirmed that Elden Ring: Nightreign will receive a DLC, and it is expected to arrive within FY2025.
Seems like FromSoftware doesn’t have all their focus towards Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition for the Nintendo Switch 2 and has something more cooking for the spinoff as well. Last we heard, the Tarnished Edition was delayed to 2026, but now it seems that we might get something more to play in Nightreign before March 2026.
Elden Nightreign Performed ‘Well Beyond’ Initial Expectations, DLC to Arrive By FY2025
The latest earnings results (via GamesRadar+) from the Kadokawa Group revealed plans for games that FromSoftware is working on. FromSoftware is working towards further sales growth for Elden Ring, the original Nightreign game, and its DLC. They have also confirmed that the game has performed significantly better than they expected.
Currently, they have multiple titles in development for mobile and console platforms. Elden Ring Nightreign fans can look forward to a new DLC, which is “planned for release in FY2025.”
Other than that, Elden Ring Tarnished Edition is released in 2026 for the Nintendo Switch 2, and The Duskbloods is planned for the same year as well. The developers are also currently working on a mobile game, “Oshi no Ko,” and the distribution is scheduled to begin next year as well.
In other news, earlier this year, Elden Ring received an update, which made the game significantly more difficult. Additionally, Alex Garland wrote 160 pages while pitching the Elden Ring movie.
