Redesigned UI With Dedicated Cloud Streaming Tab for PS Portal

PlayStation Portal Cloud Streaming features

PlayStation Portal’s cloud streaming update comes with a refreshed home screen, which will have three tabs: Remote Play, Cloud Streaming, and Search. The first tab will let you use the device as you did initially, pair the PS5 and PS Portal, and play games installed on the console.

Cloud Streaming is a new dedicated home screen that enables PS Plus members to stream compatible titles without waiting for downloads. Lastly, the search screen helps look up games that support the new feature.

Enhanced Gameplay Experience with 3D Audio Support, In-Game Store, And More

Some new features have also been introduced in this update, including 3D Audio Support for remote play and cloud streaming on supported games. But players will need a compatible audio device. A new Passcode lock and a Network Status Screen have also been introduced. The latter lets players easily check their connection quality, which is necessary for cloud streaming.

Additional features, such as an In-Game Store, new Accessibility Options, and Game Invitations, have been added as well. In-game purchases will be supported for cloud streaming, letting players buy add-on items and in-game currencies. New accessibility features include a screen reader and adjustable text size.

In other news, here are the free monthly PlayStation Plus games for November 2025. Additionally, PlayStation’s PC-released games are reportedly coming to the next-gen Xbox.
