It’s one thing heading topside in ARC Raiders, but getting back to Speranza is the core goal. While you’ll primarily accomplish that by heading to an elevator, there’s a secondary way to exit the map via Raider Hatches. However, they require one-time use keys that are pretty rare and hard to come by.
In this snapshot guide, I’ll help you understand how to get Hatch Keys in ARC Raiders, so you can escape the map without being seen or heard (hopefully).
What Are Raider Hatches in ARC Raiders?
Raider Hatches allow you to exfil from the map in ARC Raiders without triggering alarms, attracting unwanted attention, or heading to highly contested areas like elevators.
However, they’re also few and far between and require special, single-use keys to be accessed. If you don’t have a key, you don’t use the Raider Hatch; it’s as simple as that.
How to Get Hatch Keys

To find Raider Hatch Keys in ARC Raiders, you can do one of five things:
1. Loot Hatch Keys During a Raid
When you’re raiding, you have a chance (if RNGesus is looking down on you) to find Raider Hatch Keys in loot piles, particularly in those found in high-value areas. It’s worthwhile stashing them in your secure pockets to avoid losing the Hatch Key when you die.
2. Buy from Shani
Shani is the game’s security vendor, and she’ll sell you Hatch Keys from her store once you’ve hit level 12. They’re pricey, though – it’ll set you back 9000 coins to purchase one. It’s the most reliable method to obtain a key, with that being said.
3. Find in Raider Stashes
All around the map, you’ll find hidden stashes containing rare loot. Amongst that loot could be a Hatch Key, which you’ll want to pocket so you can get a clean escape. Be warned: some stashes are guarded by ARC enemies or are in perilous areas.
4. Craft One in Raid
You can craft Hatch Keys in a raid once you have unlocked the Advanced Crafting node on the skill path screen. It takes a while to get there, but once you’ve hit it, here’s what you’ll need to craft a Hatch Key in a raid:
- 1 Advanced Electrical Components
- 3 Sensors
5. Craft One at a Workbench
Once you’ve upgraded your Workbench to the second level, you’ll be able to craft a Hatch Key. It costs 1 Advanced Electrical Component and 3 Sensors, the same as it would if you crafted it in a raid.
