Ball x Pit Reaches A Major Sales Milestone Days After Launch

Ball x Pit, the latest indie game sensation from Kenny Sun and published by Devolver Digital, has hit a major sales milestone in just five days.

The studio has announced that Ball x Pit has surpassed 300,000 sales across all platforms. This comes after it hit 100,000 sales in its first 24 hours.

Ball x Pit, for those unaware, is a “brick-breaking, ball-fusing, base-building survival roguelite.” In the game, players will “batter hordes of enemies with ricocheting balls and gather the riches of the pit to expand your homestead, generate resources and recruit unique heroes.”

As of publishing, the game has an “Overwhelming Positive” rating on Steam, with 95% of its nearly 2,000 user reviews being positive. Just after the game’s launch, Sun posted on social media his appreciation for the response.

“Been too overwhelmed for a formal announcement post but BALL x PIT came out yesterday and I’m stunned by the response!” he said. “I’m very grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.”

Ball x Pit is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game is also available via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
