Battlefield 6 is set to release tomorrow, October 10, 2025, and the developers have stated that the game’s servers are ready to handle the expected influx of launch-day players.
The anticipation is at an all-time high for Battlefield 6’s launch day, thanks to the great reception from the game’s open beta weekends. The developers have provided an early look at the game’s Day One patch, which includes over 200 changes, and have now commented on BF6’s servers for launch day.
Battlefield 6 Beta Helped Gauge Interest for Server Loads
Spotted by Game Rant, an X user (formerly Twitter) asked Battlefield 6 lead producer, David Sirland, a question that many other players have been wondering as well: Will the servers be ready to handle players on launch day? Sirland responded, stating, “Should be!” They are “of course” planning for this, and “open beta helped gauge the interest as well”. Many players must be worried about sitting in queues on launch day, and this comment from the devs might pacify some of them.
Battlefield 6 developers have also commented on the game’s servers in the past. In August, the developers discussed AI soldiers backfilling the servers if they are unpopulated. The developers have also asked players what it is about a server browser that’s important to them. This means that servers are an aspect that the developers might not have overlooked, but whether they will be able to handle the hype and excitement that BF6 is bringing to the table will only be answered on launch day.
In other news, Battlefield 6’s destruction improved after dropping previous-gen consoles, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Additionally, only 12% of BF6 players give a damn about the new Portal mode.
