Digimon Story: Time Stranger has plenty to sink your teeth into, and you’ll need to change the personality of your Digimon if you want them to perform at their very best.
The personality of Digimon in Time Stranger has a huge impact, with each Personality providing different stat boosts. As such, it’s important for your Digimon to have a Personality that aligns with their strengths; otherwise, the boosts will be rated.
Fortunately, Digimon Personality can be changed in Digimon Story: Time Stranger through several methods, all of which we’ve explained in this guide.
How to Change Digimon Personality

There are several ways to alter a Digimon’s Personality in Digimon Story: Time Stranger, though the most reliable method is to use the Digifarm.
Speaking to a Digimon on the field, or to a reserve member via Digiline, will gradually change your Digimon’s Personality and increase their bond, though this is random and cannot be farmed easily.
Using the Digifarm, however, you have much more control over a Digimon’s Personality, allowing you to boost a specific stat and alter their personality—and this is done passively too, so it doesn’t eat as much of your time.
The Digifarm is not available immediately, however, and must be unlocked through progression in the main story.
How to Unlock the Digifarm
The Digifarm is unlocked after finding the door to the In-Between theatre as part of The Time Stranger main quest, which is unlocked after the initial part of the story.
Once you have reached the theatre, speak to the receptionist and choose the ‘I wanna check out the Digifarm’ option in the discussion menu.
Training takes 30 minutes real-time to complete, though this process can be sped up by paying Yen and selecting the Quick Complete Training option. Whenever a Digimon completes its training, a message is received on the Digiline, which you can respond to for the Digimon to continue its training without having to return to the theatre.
When a Digimon is on the Digifarm, it can be fed to increase its Bond. However, this cannot be done while a Digimon is in training, and you need to wait for it to be completed before handing it a snack.
