Team Ninja has a lot on its plate in 2025, but Ninja Gaiden 4 is a devilish dish best served hot and violent. It’s been an eternity since the last new Ninja Gaiden title; fortunately, Ninja Gaiden 4 has a fixed release date and start times.
For whatever reason, Team Ninja decided to shelve Ninja Gaiden after 2013’s third mainline game. The team came to prominence with Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden, but only the former has remained a constant. Nioh, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, and Rise of the Ronin are just some of the projects the company has developed since Ninja Gaiden 3.
However, it’s time to put that slick Soulslike action to one side and bring back Ryu Hayabusa for Ninja Gaiden 4.
When is Ninja Gaiden 4 Coming Out?

Ninja Gaiden 4 has an October 21 release date, and it looks to be full steam ahead on all major platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
That’s not to say the Switch 2 isn’t a major console, but it’s still finding its feet, and not every game comes out on the platform—yet. But current-gen console owners and PC users can look forward to Ninja Gaiden 4. Obviously, fingers and katanas crossed, there’s no delay, but Team Ninja are borderline perfectionists who wouldn’t declare a release date without it being official.
We’ll update this guide if anything changes, of course.
Do We Know The Ninja Gaiden 4 Start Time?

Using the PS5 store’s listing, Ninja Gaiden should be launching at 5 PM PT on October 20.
The official PlayStation 5 store times aren’t always 100% accurate. However, using a time converter (as not everyone uses BST, of course), it seems like Ninja Gaiden 4 goes live for people in Pacific Time at 5 PM on October 20.
Still, here’s a quick look at key regions and time zones if you want something a bit closer to home.
| Time Zone | Ninja Gaiden 4 Start Time |
|---|---|
| Pacific Time (PT) | 5:00 PM—October 20 |
| Central Time (CT) | 7:00 PM—October 20 |
| Eastern Time (ET) | 8:00 PM—October 20 |
| British Summer Time (BST) | 1:00 AM—October 21 |
| Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) | 12:00 PM—October 21 |
