Black Ops 7 has been unveiled in full at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live showcase, with developers from Treyarch and Raven Software taking to the stage to present this year’s iteration of the Call of Duty franchise.
In the run-up to the event, references went live online detailing how to access the Black Ops 7 beta and what dates the beta will run in October. There’s a while to go and the beta will clash with the launch of Battlefield 6, but in this guide, I’ll break down everything you need to know about getting into the Black Ops 7 beta.

How to Get Into the Black Ops 7 Open Beta
You can get access to the Black Ops 7 beta by pre-ordering the game on your platform of choice or by subscribing to Xbox Game Pass.
This access method was first revealed when a Black Ops 7 ad was leaked before Gamescom’s Opening Night Live reveal. It was indicated that pre-ordering any version of the game included getting access to the Black Ops 7 Open Beta. Details were fully confirmed when the store listings went live.
Early access to the Black Ops 7 beta begins October 2, three days before the doors open for other players on October 5. The end date for the Open Beta has not been confirmed, and times are subject to change.
If you’ve pre-ordered Black Ops 7, you’ll also get access to the Reznov Challenge Pack in Black Ops 6.
